Caroline (200-RYT) began practicing yoga after injuring her back playing collegiate volleyball at Connecticut College. Initially she turned to the practice for the physical benefits which aided in her back rehabilitation. However, she found herself returning to her mat for the deeper mental, emotional, and even spiritual aspects of the practice. Caroline fell in love with how easily her daily stressers would fade away as soon as she started moving and flowing. Immediately after stepping on her mat she felt an instant connection where she was calm, grounded, and empowered.
Caroline pursued her passion for movement, and decided to complete her 200 Hour Teacher Training through Yoga Works Back Bay in Boston. She wanted to show that anyone could benefit from yoga, regardless of their flexibility or strength.
Caroline is currently the Clinic Coordinator for Paggi Physical Therapy, and teaches private and group yoga sessions with many of her patients. She loves showing them that there is more to yoga than the physical postures alone. She creates a practice that is molded to the individual, bringing awareness to the breath, focusing on the present moment, and deepening the mind-body connection.
Her classes are Hatha-based, focusing on strength and structure with an emphasis on alignment.
Caroline has extensive experience working with clients who have injures, and is able to tailor her classes to facilitate their needs & abilities. Her experience in physical therapy has allowed her to modify poses to assist in the recovery process of her physical therapy clients.
